That appears to be what is happening. It does start updating after I turn the laptop back on.
Thanks for assist. Guess I will stop worring about it as it seems to know what it is doing!!

It lets me know Updates are ready to Install and I click on install.
After that I seem to have no control of it. Can't see progres at all.

Security Updates
When my laptop is updating (yellow Security Shield in the taskbar) I can't open it to see the progress of the update like I can on the Desktop.
The laptop has Windows XP. (so does the Desktop).
Any thoughts on how I can open this.

If you are like the wife and I you probably have to move stuff around inside to pull the slide in.
For 6 to 8 feet I wouldn't give it a second thought to move it with the slide out.
Like said before, just check outside for stuff.

The wife and I have never been to the Brewery but we will check it out for you this week. We normally go to a local place in Merlin that has a bar and a restraunt and has pretty good food.

A friend called and said he bought one of these and wanted me to help him on how to use it.
I can't find a Garmin 3600. Am I missing something??? Anyone got one that can offer suggestions?

Texas 2009
We are planning a week in Texas and want to stay in one location.
Our picks are Galveston, Corpus Christi, and Brownsville.
We are not familiar at all with these areas. Any suggestions or thoughts on which would be a good place to spend a week? Are we overlooking another location that would also be good to stay at?
(we will be visiting inlaws in Dallas for a few days and thought while there we would go to the coast for a week).

We normally leave my sister's house in San Diego around 1000hrs and go up I5. Never a problem, weekday or weekend. Just take the Grapevine at the speed you feel comfortable with and you should be ok.

QWEST Internet
My sister in law has qwest internet and says she cannot watch video, like CNN, My Tube, etc., on her computer.
I have cable and have no problem with video's.
Is her problem because she is going though phone lines or is there a program that needs to be changed in her computer?

We are going to Panama City, Fl. in April and plan on using I40. But this time of year you might be better off using I10 to I75 as recommended. I've been across on I10 about 6 times in my car to visit my parents in PC and its a pretty easy route.

RV Storage in Florida
Can someone recommend a storage site for our RV while in Panama City, Fl. for a week?
We will be there the last week of April 08 at the Marriott Bay Resort (condo) and they cannot promise a place for the rig in the overflow parking lot and recommended I use a local RV storage site.
Any information will be appreciated.
